Not outer space. Not a hidden landscape. Hilbert space is the mathematical arena of possible quantum states—the framework that remains present through everything that follows.

The Universal Wavefunction
One quantum state describes reality as a whole.
It contains particles, fields, observers, environments, amplitudes, and every relation among them—not as separate universes, but as one indivisible state.

Unitary Evolution
Reality does not stop to choose.
The wavefunction evolves continuously according to quantum dynamics. No physical collapse interrupts the state. The whole simply keeps becoming.

Entanglement
Nothing evolves alone.
Interaction creates correlation. Systems become woven into environments and into one another, so that a local state can no longer be fully described in isolation.
05 · DURABLE DIFFERENCE
Decoherence
Alternatives cease to interfere effectively.
Information disperses into the environment. Interference between large-scale alternatives becomes negligible, while the universal state itself remains intact.
06 · THE MANY
Emergent Worlds
Stable histories appear inside the whole.
Quasi-classical patterns become robust enough to contain records, environments, observers, and consequences. These are the worlds we experience—emergent, not fundamental.
07 · NO FINAL BRANCH
Continual Branching
Every history contains further histories.
Branching is not one dramatic fork. It is an ongoing refinement produced by interaction everywhere—dense, unequal, approximate, and without a final moment.
08 · YOU ARE HERE
The Local Present
Experience is local. Reality is larger.
You are an ordinary physical pattern embedded within one locally consistent history—not outside the wavefunction, not choosing a branch, and never isolated from the whole.
